Music Venue Rental Agreement Example
Many of you have inquired about renting a venue or engaging in the "four-walling" process.

As some of you are aware, I am in the process of establishing my own music venue. Over the years, I've come across various venue rental agreements, and now I have one for my own venue, which I'm sharing below. While it's not 100% completed due to inactive venue emails and the ongoing building process, everything else reflects a typical venue rental scenario.
For context, the least expensive venue I've encountered for "four-walling" was $300 for a 100-seater venue, with a food/beverage minimum requirement. On the higher end, Carnegie Hall stands out, commanding an average rental fee ranging from $15,000 to $30,000 and beyond, depending on the selected room. Special thanks to my promoter friend, Mark, for providing those figures!
My intention in sharing this rental agreement is to familiarize you with the aspects involved in renting a venue for your event. It doesn't have to be daunting. The more knowledge you possess, the more successful your event is likely to be!
